Do I have to enter in all my details every time I register?
A. Generally no. If you have cookies enabled on your computer once you enter your name, it should fill in the rest of your contact details. However, this is purely dependant on how your computer is set up so there may be instance where details need to be re-entered.
Q. What if some of my details have changed since I last did a Lincoln Electric Warranty Registration?
A. You will be able to simply click on the relevant details and change those details for your subsequent registrations.
Q. Do I have to register all my products?
A. It is recommended that you complete the warranty registration process on all Lincoln Electric equipment to ensure that warranty claims can be more quickly processed. It is also recommended that you keep your original receipt for the Lincoln Electric products you purchase even if you complete the warranty registration process online.
Q. Does my receipt of purchase not entitle me to make a warranty claim at the original location I purchased the product from?
A. Yes, the original receipt will ensure that all warranty claims are meet. However, for peace of mind it is also recommended that you use the online warranty registration process.
Q. How do I know my product has been registered?
A. An e-mail confirming your warranty registration will be sent to you on completion of the online process. If you are not able to provide an e-mail address, your warranty registration will still be registered but no confirmation will be sent. In all cases, Lincoln Electric advises to keep your original purchase receipt, but this is even more strongly advised if you are unable to provide a confirmation e-mail address.
Q. Contacting Lincoln Electric. Who do I contact about a warranty claim or to check which products I have registered?
A. For warranty claims, the organisation from which you purchased the Lincoln Electric products should be contacted.
To check which products are registered, please send an e-mail to warranty@lincolnelectric.com.au or call 1300LINCOLN.
Q. I was registering my product and my browser crashed before I could complete the process. Has my registration details been received?
A. No. You will receive a confirmation email when your details have been received. If you have not received an email from Lincoln Electric then you will need to enter your details again.
Q. Can I receive a list of all my products I have registered?
A. If you require a list of all Lincoln Electric products registered, please send an e-mail to warranty@lincolnelectric.com.au to make your enquiry.
Q. I have a LiquidArc product. Can I register it on this site?
A. Yes, you can register LiquidArc products at www.mylincolnwarranty.com.au
Q. How do I change my registration details as I have changed my address / e-mail / phone number?
A. Please send an e-mail to warranty@lincolnelectric.com.au and your details will be modified. An e-mail detailing confirmation of those modifications will be sent to you.
Q. What happens to the data that I enter for the registration?
A. Lincoln Electric takes privacy issues very seriously. Please click here to view Lincoln Electric’s Privacy Statement. Lincoln Electric, however, may use the warranty data to contact you about special offers, seminars and other information useful for welding professionals. You can opt out of receiving this information at any time via a link that will be included in any communication from Lincoln Electric you receive.
Q. Do I have to answer all the questions on the warranty registration site?
A. There are questions that are mandatory on the warranty registration site that are necessary to adequately complete the registration process such as contact details, product codes/model, date purchased.
There are also questions that are mandatory to go in the draw to go in the draw to win the Lincoln Electric Welding Helmet drawn monthly and to go in the draw to win the Hot Lap with V8 Supercar Driver, Jason Bright at the end of the year.
Q. What is iweld?
A. iweld is an e-magazine delivered to your e-mail address that details welding seminars, case studies, welding Q&A’s and general information of interest to welding professionals.
Q. What is the product code / model?
A. Every product produced by Lincoln Electric has a product code that is specific to that product variation or product package. This is generally underneath the product description on Lincoln Electric packaging. For example, the code for the REDI-MIG 4D Wire Feeder is KA1435. Using this code in your warranty registration is preferable as Lincoln Electric will be able to determine the exact product variation you have. However, if you are unable to find this code, you can simply write in the model i.e. REDI-MIG 4D Wire Feeder.
Q. How do I find the serial number?
A. Every Lincoln Electric machine has a compliance or specification plate on which typically is the serial number.
